In a few words ...
Geologically, Domaine Milan, like all great terroirs, is the result of a combination of the Alpilles mountain range, which creates a gradient conducive to the originality of the terroirs, and an exceptional climate with a Mediterranean influence tempered by relative coolness. The magic of this terroir was further confirmed in 1996 by the famous soil biologist Claude Bourguignon. He found that the blue marls had an electrical exchange capacity conducive to the creation of great white wines. Henri's sensitivity and taste have enabled the domaine to create original, complex wines where the harmony of grape varieties, blended by terroir, gives a finesse and "grain" that can only be found in Burgundy. Last but not least, the wines are treated with the utmost delicacy so as to give a sensation of fullness when tasted. Never filtered, transported by an asymmetrical pebble pump, bottled by siphon.
