Clotaire Michal, to just past thirty, is a talented young winemaker that we follow very carefully. After his classes in Languedoc Clos Marie, Clotaire returned to his native valley of the Rhone to officiate alongside Thierry Allemand Cornas (no less). Just like Jean-Yves Peron and Maxime Magnon, it is thus part of the 'happy few' to have had the chance to learn from little secrets and great knowledge of this key figure in the Rhone wine. During the five years from Th. German, Clotaire Michal learns to work without tight granitic acres chemicals from the right bank of the Rhone Valley. Patiently, he observes, dissects and internalizes all the little things that help build fine wines.
