The winemaker

Coming from a family of wine growers since 1885; viticulture for me is both a family affair, passion and knowledge passed from father to son. Collecting owner at the head of two fields in Organic, Live this passion with my wife and my children; Our philosophy is to give voice to the character of our land (observe), practicing organic farming. Domaine des Grandes Bruyères (10.5 hectares) rooted in a dozen kilometers northwest of Villefranche-sur-Saône and 800 meters as the crow flies south of the Brouilly appellation, we mainly produce red wines Beaujolais Villages Nouveau, Beaujolais red Villages, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais Villages Luxury red (Vielles vines) made from the Gamay, the king grape vineyard, but also rare Beaujolais Villages Blanc made from Chardonnay and wine country with Viognier grape. This area was given to me by my father in 1990; since we gradually changed our behavior patterns. We first practiced hyper rational control, and in 2002, with the arrival on the field of my son Julian, we got back to plow our vines; in 2008 our second son Jean Baptiste integrated operation, we begin to experience the production and organic winemaking. After successful testing in 2010 we ask certification for all Beaujolais and operating Mâconnaise (19 ha)
