The winemaker

The estate was then a small operation of 3 to 4 ha, it now covers 14 hectares of vineyards. However it remains very family by the father of passage son of exploitation. Harvesting is done manually with the help of seasonal workers. The operation makes wine some of its wines for over a century in the cellar of the Old Church. This winery is the oldest church in Julienas abandoned in 1868 because too cramped, it belongs for many years to Loron family that a good idea has turned this chai monument for its winemakers. Today Granger Estate is the sole beneficiary of the winery and one of the few in France to use the walls of an old church for its wines vinified. The farm is working 14 hectares of vineyards spread over 4 neighboring communes of Julienas (Jullie, oak, La Chapelle de Guinchay, Leynes), plots are more or less close to the Domaine (from 2 to 15 km). On Julienas Domaine recognizes several production sites in the many lands that the appellation, which gives the wines of surprising notes for each of them.
