This estate is above all a family adventure. Founded in 1982 by Patrick Péchard, the 13-hectare vineyard is managed under the Terra Vitis label. The winemaker
Domaine Tano Péchard is a family-run winery located in Régnié-durette in the Beaujolais region that embodies excellence in the region. With numerous gold medals received each year for their various cuvées, the domaine was consecrated in 2017 with the title of best gamay in the world.
The Domaine was founded in 1982 by Patrick Péchard, himself descended from a long line of winegrowers established in the Beaujolais region since 1670. His family name reflects this winegrowing heritage as it refers to the "Percheron" horse breed used for ploughing in the vineyards. The attachment to family values is also reflected in the name of the estate. "Tano" being the nickname of Patrick Péchard's father. A tribute that perfectly reflects the importance of the transmission from generation to generation within the Domaine. Today, Patrick Péchard and his wife Ghislaine manage a vineyard of 13 hectares. They were joined on the estate by their son Antoine in 2018.
The vineyard extends over a parcel of land that includes different appellations: Régnié, Brouilly, Morgon, Beaujolais-Villages red and rosé, and Bourgogne Blanc. The vineyard is managed according to a simple principle: observe and reason. In this sense, the Domaine has the HVE and Terra Vitis certifications which allow the cultivation of the vine in respect of the environment and biodiversity.
