This Fleurie is very different. Situated on the highest hill in the Fleurie appellation, its soil is composed of darker, burnt granite, giving it a fuller-bodied, richer, spicier wine. It should be cellared for one or two years to bring out the full intensity of its red fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry aromas.
