Maison Albert BichotEstimated delivery between 15 and May 16,
Straddling the Saône-et-Loire and Rhône regions, the Moulin-à-vent vineyard is considered the most "Burgundian" of the Beaujolais thanks to its ageing potential. Located in the northern part of Beaujolais, on the slopes of Chenas and Romanèche-Thorins, our wine comes from Clos des Rochegrès, one of the appellation's most prestigious terroirs, composed mainly of old Gamay vines. Planted in the heart of Clos de Rochegrès, the vines grow on poor granite soils with numerous sandstone outcrops. The very hard granite and quartz parent rock forces the plant's roots to seek its minerals deeper in the earth. The plot is located at an average altitude of 300-400 meters.
