    In a few words ...

Château Climens has belonged to the Lurton family since 1971. It extends over 30 hectares planted exclusively with Semillon in the commune of Barsac, near the river Ciron. The vineyard has undergone organic conversion and continues to produce wines of exceptional quality year after year.

    Le Figaro Vin

"Château Climens is renowned for the freshness and minerality of its terroir. Its aromatic complexity, which never detracts from its finesse, will allow you to come across white citrus fruit, fresh fruit, then sweet spices and candied fruit as you age. This Barsac, a great wine of excellence, is made for long, even very long cellaring.

    Tasting notes

    Appearance

The robe can vary over the entire range of colors from pale gold to coppery gold through straw yellow.

    Aroma

In the main aromatic field of soft and sweet Bordeaux we find the flower, the fresh fruits, the exotic fruits but also spicy notes and empireumatiques (wood, cinnamon, vanilla ...).

    Taste

The sweet white young are delicious, they are slightly jammy but still retain acidity. With age they evolve on more concentrated aromas, such as the bitter orange confit and small notes of salted butter caramel.
