The winemaker

The High Castle Terrace is located in the town of Saint Magne de Castillon, near where the Battle of Castillon in 1453 took place, which was the last battle between the French and the English during the Hundred Years War . The Bourrigaud family owns two other properties in Saint-Emilion AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, since the eighteenth century. Pascal Bourrigaud succeeded his father John in 1994 and represents the 8th generation. He and his wife Veronique currently manage the various properties, including those faamiliales: the Champion Castle and Old Grand Faurie. In 1998, Pascal and Veronique acquire "High Castle Terrace" in the appellation of Castillon - Cotes de Bordeaux, neighboring appellation of Saint-Emilion.
