The winemaker

We've been winegrowers in Pellegrue, Gironde, since 1965, when my grandfather acquired the estate. Today, following in my father's footsteps, my son Mathieu and I continue to cultivate, vinify and market our Bordeaux AOC red and rosé wines. We are committed to an environmentally-friendly approach, and our wines are certified as High Environmental Value. We produce round, fruity wines: an "Alter Ego" with merlot/malbec grapes (new to Bordeaux), with a very pale peach color and delicate white-fleshed fruit aromas; a red "Absolument" with merlot/malbec grapes, with red fruit aromas, supple, fresh and round on the palate, brilliant cherry-red color, an "Authentique" red with merlot/malbec grapes, fleshy on the palate, silky tannins, vanilla nose, elegant woody notes, ruby-red color.
