The winemaker

Located in Saint-Sauveur, adjacent to the famous Pauillac appellation, Château de Cassana is owned by the Autet family. The small 1.8-hectare vineyard is planted with Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet-Franc, Petit-Verdot and Carmenère. The 40-year-old vineyard, situated on a gravelly hilltop, is entirely cultivated by the owners in a sustainable manner. The soil is worked in the traditional way, without weedkillers. Our High Environmental Value-certified estate produces a fruity, warm AOP Haut Médoc red wine that has won numerous awards and regular critical acclaim.
