The winemaker

The Château des Arnauds is a former family property transmitted from father to son for over four generations. In 1914, Jacques ARNAUDS begins to acquire some land in the municipality of Lalande de Pomerol. He quickly realized the potential of this appellation. With his knowledge of the land, it will gradually buy the parcels that make up our property today. It was in 1958 that Pierre GODINEAU husband of Miss Andree ARNAUDS took over the family farm. In 1972, Peter began marketing bottled wine. SCEA Château des Arnauds starts in 1993 after the death of Pierre GODINEAU, under the management of Philippe a son, he will continue the traditional work. After 18 years of management, Philippe left hand to his son Sebastian. He and his uncle Bernard will jointly take over the property. Today, they work to the development of the property and to maintain the quality of wines from the castle.
