The winemaker

In December 2008, Daniel Truant having sold its materials trading business in Entre Deux Mers decided to buy the domain Franc Grace-Dieu in Saint-Emilion and entrusted the management of his property to his daughter Sylvie. With his experience in the building, he undertook a major renovation of the field. The winery and barrel cellar were restored first, then the mansion has been converted into guest rooms and a tasting room created. A meeting room and reception has just been renovated and can be rented. The vineyard was not forgotten because after soil analysis it was decided to undertake a grubbing and replanting scheme. All these works have only one goal: Make the best wine on an exceptional terroir! Indeed, next to the Château Figeac and 2 km from Cheval Blanc Franc Grace-Dieu enjoys a complex soil brown sands, iron oxide and clay. This privileged terroir gives balanced and structured wine with aromas of red fruits pronounced, leaving a feeling of velvet, soft as cashmere.
