The winemaker

Château Galoupeau is a 25-hectare family estate located in the village of Saint André du Bois, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, so named because it is bounded by the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. The vineyard has been in the family for many generations. The earliest notarized records found date back to 1753, and relate to plots of land that are still farmed today. Taking over the reins in 2017, Véronique and Léonard Maigre made a major ecological transition, obtaining Haute Valeur Environnementale certification in 2018, followed by Terra Vitis certification in 2019. Château Galoupeau offers a range of red, white and rosé wines, both fruity and woody, all certified vegan.
