Chateau Haut Plantey Declercq is a historic property in the heart of the Médoc. The vineyard is located between the prestigious vineyards of Margaux and Saint Julien, AOC Haut Médoc. The domain was bought by Jean-Louis Declercq great Belgian wine amateur in the early 1980s. In 2005, Liz and Frans Roskam take after Mr. Declercq, president today, the destiny of Château Haut Plantey Declercq and Château La Lauzette Declercq. Liz first American oenologist from Bordeaux, and Frans, engineer oenologist from Bordeaux, also owner of Château Cantenac in St Emilion, develop and pérenissent the terroir of Château Haut Plantey Declercq.
