The winemaker

Chateau l'Eperon is a completely family-run estate, committed to authenticity through its membership of the Vignerons Indépendants. The estate is committed to sustainable practices thanks to HVE3 certification, and always seeks the quintessence of each vintage with the help of Hubert de Boüard's OENO-LAB (Château Angelus). You can also discover the estate by staying at the gîte "La Maison L'Eperon", which boasts a swimming pool and 5-star comfort. Ideal for wine tastings, private dinners and workshops. History tells us that the Duke of Chambord established Château l'Eperon as his hunting lodge and, with his passion for cockfighting, named it l'Eperon to allude to the protruding ergot these animals possess.
