The winemaker

The Château d'Arthus Flower is a vineyard classified Saint-Emilion Grand Cru owned and operated Myriam and Jean-Denis Salvert since 2000. This family property covers ten hectares in the commune of Saint-Sulpice-de -Faleyrens on soil rich in silica. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the first dominating the second, are cultivated with great care throughout the year, to obtain high quality fruit in the respect of nature. To promote the maturation of berries and limit yields, modern methods of leafing and green harvesting are applied. During the harvest, there are 15 people to harvest 10 hectares of vineyards and fruit thoroughly sorting to keep only the best. The vinification takes place in a traditional vat where the cement is honored before the new wooden farms.
