The winemaker

The Château Lafon in Listrac Médoc Cru Bourgeois is one of the oldest wine estates in the town, owes its fame to a great wine of the last century, Dominique Duat: in the VII edition of "Bordeaux and its Wines" (1908). Edward Feret noted a production of 50 barrels of red wine in his commentary, added: "Well kept in the most perfect way, it produces a very fine, full-bodied, colorful, classified as the best in the country." He successively belongs to Mrs. Boye, Mr Flamerie Chapel, Mr. Theron. Since 2011, it is owned by Groupe Bel Eden.
