The winemaker

The reputation of Château Lagrange is almost two centuries old: not only does it appear among the superior crus Bourgeois of the prestigious guide Féret (Bordeaux and its wines) since 1874, but it is also found in the very first editions of William Franck in 1864 and Charles Cocks in 1850.

The new owners are keen to continue the integrated viticulture that has been in place for several years: few phytosanitary treatments, sparing and only organic fertilization, a desire to preserve plant and animal biodiversity (with natural grassing controlled mechanically, without chemical weedkillers), because only a living soil can allow the vine to develop its full potential.
