The winemaker

Situated along the "Route des Grands Vins", Château Lalande is located in the commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, close to the famous Talbot and Lagrange estates. The 31-hectare vineyard is planted with three grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards of the Saint-Julien appellation are fortunate to have a climate regulated by the cool Gironde, with a subsoil composed of gravel and pebbles, bringing a velvety, fruity sweetness to the red wines of this great appellation. A beautiful garnet-red color, this wine is velvety and suave. On the nose, notes of chocolate, wood and fruit are apparent. On the palate, you'll discover a supple, pleasant taste.
