The winemaker

Château Lamothe is a residence whose foundations date back to the 16th century. Its renovation in the 19th century made it a charming house whose facade is reproduced on the label of the bottles.

Located in the commune of Haux, at the top of a clay-limestone hillside in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, this property, which has been devoted to the cultivation of vines since its origin, has belonged to the same family for four generations since 1956. Currently, the 40-hectare vineyard, which also includes the vines of Château Manos since 1991, is managed by Anne NEEL and her children, Maria & Damien CHOMBART.

Over time, these passionate Lamothe enthusiasts have expanded the vineyard, converted impressive underground galleries into cellars and given their wines an international reputation thanks to dynamic marketing, not only in France, but also internationally.
