The winemaker
The area takes its name from one of its first owners in 1611, Marie Laville, widow of a referendum advises Queyrac. Much later, in 1983, the Dillon family, owner of Château Haut-Brion, repurchased heirs Woltners neighboring areas Mission and Laville Haut-Brion. They are as close as the vines of the latter are included in the 30 hectares of the Mission Haut-Brion. Since the 2009 vintage, Château Laville Haut-Brion has regained the name of its origins, Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc. Indeed, a single wine is produced in this place, a white Graves among the most sought of the appellation.
