Cru Bourgeois Town of Begadan and member of the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois, Château Pey is the oldest and largest of the three properties owned by the Compagnet family, which consists of Claude and Françoise and their children Peter and Oliver. The other two areas are the Castles Moulin de Cassy and Grand Bertin of St. Clair. In these three farms, Compagnet support all tasks from vine to marketing, through bottling. Evidence of the quality of work within the family, the wines they produce have been repeatedly rewarded with gold at Paris Agricultural General Contest. The consultant selected for this area is another Medevillle Antoine, also owner of Château Fleur La Mothe.
