The winemaker

The Conseillans is located in the town of Saint-Caprais-de-Bordeaux and vineyards can be dated to the 17th century. Management style The castle was built in the late 18th century. The estate covers 20 hectares and is surrounded by streams, springs and wood that were placed on the French list of classified sites because of the variety of species that make up the forest. The vineyards of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux and Cadillac is currently planted with 6 hectares of vines. The grapes are planted to 60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc and Malbec (5.4 hectares). The rest is planted with white vines, 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Unsurprisingly, the area has a large price tag (around 2 EUR 650,000 million), but given its links Ribéreau Jean-Gayon and proper marketing, it could be quite useful.
