The winemaker

In the heart of the Côtes de Bourg, Château Les Graves de Viaud extends over 15 ha on a south-facing hillside of vines, meadows and woods. In this beautiful environment, 11.5 ha of vines are planted on clayey gravel soils. The estate has existed since 1850, cited in the Féret since 1875. From 1945 to 1993, the estate delivered its grapes to the Pugnac cooperative winery. In 1994, the property changed hands, and the new owners built new cellars and vinified the grapes themselves. It was here in 2010 that we decided to live our passion for wine to the full, and as lovers of great terroir wines, we logically undertook to grow our vines organically and biodynamically (DEMETER) in order to get the very best out of our terroir.
