The winemaker

Since 1770 the Castle Moncets fit into the history of Bordeaux and in 1872 Moncets of General gives it its name. A property of 19 hectares in one piece is then formed at the intersection of four prestigious appellations: Montagne Saint-Emilion, Lalande de Pomerol, Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. In 2012, a new impetus is given to the vineyard of Château de Moncets with the acquisition by a French owner. The cellars have undergone extensive renovations in 2015 to be equipped with advanced winemaking tools. The same year, 9 hectares of Chambrun Castle are redeemed to integrate Moncets Vineyard. In 2016, a new young and dynamic team is appointed to develop two key themes: production in modern style respectful of the environment and development of "wine tourism a tool of quality with guest rooms, banquet halls and personalized daily visits at work in the vineyards, artist in the cellar, our team implements every day all his expertise to render you better the exceptional terroir in which thrive their vines.
