The winemaker

Château Vieux Landat is a vineyard in the Gironde department of France. It lies on the slopes of the Dordogne River, just 15 kilometers from Libourne. The vineyard covers 16 hectares and is planted mainly with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Vieux Landat produces red, white and rosé wines. Red wines are made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are vinified separately and blended before ageing. White wines are produced from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, while rosé is made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, then bottled. Château Vieux Landat wines are rich and balanced, with ripe fruit aromas and notes of vanilla and mocha. They are also characterized by a fine tannic structure and a long finish.
