The winemaker

Initially, the Clos du Jaugueyron was a small vineyard of 40 acres in Cantenac. In 1993, Michel Theron, straight from the Minervois, settled on this small field. Quickly in love, he never ceased to expand his field to carry the day over 5 hectares in two appellations, Margaux and Haut-Médoc. The plots are located in the municipalities of Macau and Arsac, on well-drained serious beautiful that provide early crop maturity. Since 2012, the wine process is certified organic, capping nearly two decades as a sharp work in the vines with soil. The planting is 53% in Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 40% and 7% by Petit Verdot with vines planted between 1988 and 2000. In the cellar you will find cement, stainless steel and oak, with a third of new wood for farms. There is also and above all a passionate man who advocates listening, observation and respect for nature and refuse the application of a method that would be the same every year.
