The winemaker

In 2010, Yorick and Sophie Lavaud took over 5 hectares of vines, which they cultivate directly using organic methods. They fell in love with the place: all in one piece, the vines surround a knoll made up of clay of all colors, limestone bedrock at depth and gravel on the surface. The vines have been well established here for decades. We produce 2 cuvées: Les Caprices - 100% Merlot - 100% fruit - wine with no added sulfur & Les Vendanges - Merlot and Cabernet Franc - aged in French oak barrels - a traditional organic Bordeaux!
