Château grand renouil - vignobles ponty 2015les vignobles ponty is located in the libournais à bordeaux. This family-run estate has been in existence since 1905, when victor ponty, the great-grandfather from corrèze, settled in fronsac to produce and sell wine. Four generations followed, and today the vineyard is managed by michel ponty, who was born on the property and grew up there;té and began working there at the age of 21, alongside his father and brother ainé.the grand renouil winery disappeared for a while during the revolution, but reappeared in 1938 thanks to the ponty family. The Merlot vines they planted here are now over 80 years old and give the wine such richness and depth that it is often referred to as the Petrus of Fronsac. The wine is made entirely from Merlot, and matured in barrels.cépage : 100% Merlot
