In a few words ...

"claire villars-lurton on ceres: "in addition to organic and biodynamic farming, I wanted to convert the vertheuil vineyard to agro-ecology. Nearly 1,000 trees will be planted on this 8-hectare plot. Each tree species is chosen for its synergy with the vines. Plant cover is also used to promote biodiversity, regenerate soil life and sequester carbon in the soil, thereby combating global warming. This vineyard has given birth to Ceres, whose name means Roman goddess of agriculture and fertility. Ceres is a no-sulfur-added wine, certified organic and biodynamic since 2021. Its style is pure, supple and ethereal, in perfect osmosis with nature.terroir: 8 hectares in a single block in the commune of vertheuil (north of pauillac), farmed using agroecology and agroforestry methods, and demeter-certified. Vinification and ageing: plot-by-plot vinification. Aged 6 months in raw concrete vats to preserve the wine's fruitiness and freshness".
