This opus is a very good exploitation of the greatness of this vintage. It's ready to be enjoyed, accomplished but still great ageing potential. Its balance, richness and complexity will make it a highly advantageous ally for pairing with a wide range of dishes in terms of both finesse and generosity. delicacy and generosity.
Just released! Probably our most complete wine to date, our winemaker Thierry Garnaud, who has worked at Cheval Blanc for 35 vintages, has chosen with us to vinify in new 500-liter new oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Appearance
Intense ruby with brilliant garnet highlights. A tile-red border hints at an evolution perhaps a little premature.
Aroma
The first nose offers an intense, complex bouquet of red fruits, vanilla, cinnamon and roasted coffee beans. Aeration reveals ripe black fruit and hints of dark chocolate.

Very closed, leave to decant for 2 hours, and it begins to reveal itself: red fruit, black fruit, stewed fruit... it can mature in the cellar for a few more years, given its great ageing potential (acidity and tannic structure).
