The winemaker
The territory of the AOC Lussac-Saint-Émilion extends north of the hill of Saint-Emilion. It enjoys a favorable microclimate in the vineyard, with moderate rainfall and warm temperatures in summer. At Lussac, wine courses are staged valleys to plateaus, forming a south-facing amphitheater. This arrangement promotes natural drainage. The soils are mainly clay and limestone. The vineyard Lussac farm in its northern part the vineyards of Saint Emilion. With the vineyards of Montagne-Saint-Émilion, Saint-Georges-Saint-Émilion and Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion, they form the satellites of Saint-Emilion.
