In a few words ...

Ample and powerful! The mild winter and spring of 2016 were followed by a fairly dry summer. The rains at the beginning of September enabled the grapes to reach perfect ripeness and to be harvested in the best possible conditions. In addition, the presence in the field and expertise of Baron Philippe de Rothschild's oenologists helped optimize and guarantee a great vintage.

A very fine vintage! Well-controlled amplitude and power. Perhaps it needs a few more years to develop its full potential.
