In a few words ...
Ample and powerful! The mild winter and spring of 2016 were followed by a fairly dry summer. The rains at the beginning of September enabled the grapes to reach perfect ripeness and to be harvested in the best possible conditions. In addition, the presence in the field and expertise of Baron Philippe de Rothschild's oenologists helped optimize and guarantee a great vintage.

Dark, brilliant garnet.
Aroma
A subtle initial nose with fruity notes of blackcurrant and blackberry, gradually evolving towards sweet spices (star anise, vanilla).

A powerful attack accompanied by rich tannins and fine extraction. The mid-palate is concentrated and ripe. The finish expresses the Médoc terroir with blackcurrant aromas and powerful, refined tannins.
