The fruit of an exceptional terroir, Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild is the second wine of Château Mouton Rothschild. Produced from a selection of the youngest vines of this illustrious Premier Cru, it is harvested, vinified and bottled with the same meticulous care: harvested in crates, fermented in the Mouton oak vats, and aged in barrels using traditional methods. Everything is in place to express the elegance and richness of a great Pauillac.
Tasting notes
Appearance
Dense, dark garnet color, drawing on purple in its youth.
Aroma
The bouquet consists of black and red fruits, roasting, licorice and leather.

The Pauillacs are vigorous and tannic, which softens with age which allows the tannins to melt and give a nice and round structure.
