The winemaker

Located on one of the two highest points of St Emilion, Chateau Destieux, 8.12 hectares in one piece, overlooks a beautiful landscape at 360 degrees, the Dordogne valley to the hills Montagne Saint-Emilion. The vines rooted in clay and limestone soil that has barely touch at the top of the plateau, a narrow siliceous vein. For over thirty years, the Castle Destieux belongs to Dauriac family, which has maintained passionately progression relentless of this vintage, with the sole aim: make every effort in the vineyard and in the winery to give birth every year a wine concentrated, both elegant and robust, aristocratic expression of a privileged terroir.
