This menhir Breton vestige of a past marked by the passage of the monk Aemilian! The British monk born in Vannes to the 8th century made step Saint Emilion, religious and medieval city and pass almost mandatory for pilgrims en route to St Jacques de Compostela. On returning from his pilgrimage, Aemilian settled permanently in our beautiful city and so gave him this name later so famous today "Saint Emilion". The vineyard of Château Peyrelongue is meanwhile more récent.La Bouquey product family this Saint Emilion Grand Cru for about 150 years! Castle Peyrelongue Saint Emilion Grand Cru is a blended wine, 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinified traditionally this great Saint Emilion wine will speak after 5 to 7 years of aging in your cellar!
