The winemaker

Historically Valletta family operated a vineyard in Bergerac on the soil of Montravel. Subsequently Jean Marie married Martine, of Médoc origin living in Moulis. In 1986 they planted the first vines, 1.70ha with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. In 2006 the area gets ranked CRU ARTISAN (Official Gazette of January 2, 2006). Then it was in 2013 that their son John, while continuing his work on the operating Bergerac, approaches gradually bought the vineyard and in turn 50 acres of additional vineyards AOC Moulis, which led the vineyard at 2.30 ha with an annual production of 15 000 bottles.
