Chassagne Montrachet is a fresh white wine with just the right amount of body. The nose expresses aromas of candied lemon, honey and flowers. The palate is long, with floral and gingerbread notes. A very fine wine.
1978 was a fine, classic-style year in which vegetation took its time. As is often the case in vintages where the sunny autumn brings maturity, the wines were slow to open up.

Le silex rappelle la minéralité profonde d’un vin parfois toasté, spontanément beurre frais. L’âge le porte vers des notes miellées ou de poire mûre. Tout en courbe et souvent opulent, son attaque est joliment enlevée.
