The winemaker

Xavier and Guillemette Besson took over the family estate, located in Givry in Burgundy in 1989. The selection of grapes is done under the control of a small team of 15 pickers who choose only healthy grapes and mature. The white wines of the area are very aromatic, open. Red, meanwhile, offer a nice freshness, much fruit and liveliness. The concept of terroir is very strong, because in this area, even the wine appellation Givry village are into wine and a fragmented bottling (each parcel, bounded because of its soil, sub specific soil and exposure is worked separately, in order to bring out the typicities propores to each of them).
