The winemaker

Amelia, daughter of Denis Berthaut, born of the marriage with Marie-Andrée Gerbet (Domaine François Gerbet in Vosne-Romanée), settled on the family farm in 2013 after studying engineering agronomist-oenologist in Bordeaux. The Berthaut-Gerbet field was born, bringing together all the vineyards of Berthaut field and part of the estate vineyards Gerbet. The vines are grown in respect for the environment, without chemical weed killer, but with tillage. The wines are all typical wines to: well structured, they are suitable for long storage. Ruby color, with particular flavors of Pinot Black, a round, soft body, they are distinguished by their powerful bouquet, elegance and finesse.
