The winemaker

For vinification as for breeding, our methods are somewhat intrusive. The fruit quality is the essential basis for shaping our wines. We develop wines that combine freshness, finesse and elegance but remain solid with material and tasty length. Each of our soils (Clos de la Roche Morey-St-Denis, Gevrey Chambertin, ...) faithfully reflected in our wines. Our farms in barrels (some new wood) are long (20 to 22 months), on lees without racking after malolactic fermentation. The wines are bottled by gravity, without fining or filtration to preserve freshness and aging potential.
