The winemaker

After technical training at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune between 1989 and 1994, he put into practice the knowledge he had acquired during various internships, such as at Domaine JOSEPH VOILLOT in Volnay and Domaine du VIEUX TELEGRAPHE in Chateauneuf du Pape, and began winemaking at the family-owned Domaine ROSSIGNOL JEANNIARD. Keen to master other growing and ageing techniques, he left to vinify in South Africa at Domaine BOSCHENDAL in 1995, then in Bordeaux at Château LA CARDONNE run by Château LAFITE ROTHSCHILD. It wasn't long before he set up his own Domaine in 1997, with a surface area of 3 hectares spread over the communes of VOLNAY, POMMARD, BEAUNE, ALOXE CORTON and PERNAND VERGELESSES, while continuing to vinify and market the wines of the Domaine Familial ROSSIGNOL JEANNIARD.
