The Naigeon winegrowing history dates back to the 19th century. Fernand Naigeon, a cooper, bought a few vines on the Gevrey-Chambertin side before starting his own business in 1889. A century later, Pierre Naigeon is still producing grands crus from his 11.5 hectares. Find out more

The winemaker

The domaine owns plots of pinot noir and chardonnay throughout the Côte de Nuits, with prestigious climats on marly limestone soils. Each terroir is biodynamically farmed and vinified separately. Some of Burgundy's most prestigious AOPs are found here: Bourgogne-Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuit, Gevrey-Chambertin, Fixin, Puligny-Montrachet, including 1er crus. The red grands crus are fresh and expressive, with silky tannins. The whites are salivating and taut.
