In 1961, Jacques Rossignol and his wife Mado Trapet, daughter of Louis Trapet, became partners in the Louis Trapet estate, which ceased operations with the 1989 vintage. In 1990, Jacques Rossignol and his two sons, Nicolas and David, created Domaine Rossignol-Trapet in Gevrey-Chambertin. Owners of vineyards in the famous Côte de Beaune villages of : Beaune, Savigny-les Beaune, and of course Gevrey-Chambertin.
