The winemaker

Sylvain Morey is a native of Chassagne-Montrachet. This son of Bourguignon had initiated a challenge of starting in the Luberon in 1995. He thus learns winemaking multi-variety, something that does not exist in the Burgundy vineyard. For him, the Luberon was the perfect environments of Burgundy, his father region and Tuscany, whose mother was from. In 2014, he decided to take some contact with his childhood region, and produced its first Burgundian wines on the old vineyards inherited from his father. And even if he continues to operate his plots, he still resides in the Luberon. His Burgundian white wines are often described as elegant or stately, and rightly so! The aromatic complexity related to terroir and Chardonnay is enhanced by the expertise of generations of winemakers. When you drink one of his red, one would almost like biting into a red fruit. These are gourmet wines, lively and fresh without missing structure. A delight ! Note that the production of its wines remains relatively confidential!
