The history of Domaine Jean-Philippe Marchand dates back to the early 19th century. Since then, 7 generations have succeeded one another in running the vineyard. The domaine, located in Gevrey-Chambertin, produces wines from a variety of appellations, including Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis, Aloxe Corton, Fixin, Nuits Saint Georges and Gevrey Chambertin. The winemaker

The story of the House of Jean-Philippe Marchand began in Morey-Saint-Denis on February 24, 1813, when Pierre Marchand, a winegrower from Reulle-Vergy in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, married Marie Jacotier, heiress to a vineyard on her father's side. The estate has remained in Morey-Saint-Denis for seven generations: Pierre, François, François-Joseph, Emile, Claude... In 1983, Claude acquired an 18th-century winegrowers' house in the heart of the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, and entrusted it to his eldest son Jean-Philippe.
