The winemaker

The wine history of the Labruyère family begins in 1845 when the founder of the branch of Labruyère Macon, Jean-Marie, moved to Thorins on what will be in April 1924 Appellation Moulin-à-Vent. These wine roots are subsequently developed in northern Burgundy, since Labruyère took feet in Meursault Domaine Jacques Prieur in 1988. To complement the already broad offering of Domaine Edouard Labruyère decided to create Labruyère Prior selection in 2013. By partnering with some seasoned winemakers in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits Labruyère Prior Selection wishes to offer a couture collection of great wines of Burgundy. This new adventure through a Burgundian house to excellence in niche titles, is part of a family tradition of development of major French wine regions.
