The venerable old vines of pouilly-fuissé "les combes" were harvested in three batches, to achieve surgical phenolic ripeness: richness, density, acidity... it's all there! 100% Chardonnay. Fifty-year-old vines. Clay-limestone soils. Aged 8 months in barrels (25% new).
