The winemaker
A classic Champagne terroir for the Belin family
Cultivating this estate for over half a century, the Belin family owns just under 10 hectares on which are spread the traditional grape varieties of the Champagne terroir, Pinot Meunier (the one that is so specific to AOC Champagne), but also Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, whose combinations form the typical taste of this sparkling wine.
A wide range of Belin Champagnes
Champagne Belin has numerous cuvées to suit all tastes, with poetic and evocative names. Two cuvées of rosé champagnes, "Rose des fables" and "Belle de Saignée", for example, offer pulpy, fruity gustatory pleasures. In the white cuvées, the multi-medal-winning "Clair-Obscur" champagne, part of which has been aged in oak barrels, has a complex taste and notes of plums on the nose. Finally, a 2014 vintage offers an almost creamy effervescence.
